RETAIL SPACE DISPLAY
Weeeeeeee. The world’s first art amusement park with rides, games, and attractions by artists and visionaries like Basquiat, Haring, Lichtenstein and Hockney. The exhibit was staged at The Shed in NYC and we engineered and built 21 display crates for the retail space. These playful pieces were Commissioned by BRDG Studios.

Oh No the baby box is too big to carry. So, make it diminutive, add custom latches and corners and you’ve got a replicated baby box that Emily Blunt can now run frantically with in A Quiet Place II.

Bottoms up ! Just kidding. Please don’t drink from your motor oil filter. Do enjoy the uber smooth refreshing bar made for a fast slide. Hand sanded to make sure the oil filter can slid smoothly across the top. Now that’s slick.

UTILITY POLE PROP
Faux, Fake, Not Real – yes I’m talking about the utility pole. Safety though is for real and this video shows you what to do. David designed and constructed the pole and used a grinder to create the grooves and textures and Dave Butler/ ProCreations did the faux paint job finishing. We had the pleasure of working with dPost for the shoot.

STEEL TABLE PROP
120’ wide and 800’ deep studio with a black void filled with nothing but steel tables and equipment. That’s how we spark their interest. ESAB Spark Week tables, designed by David Butler Designs. Built by our very own David Kraatz. Welded by Jimmy Sikorski and assembled by Luke DiPaolo.

How cute is the Emmy nomination raindrop costume we designed and constructed for a NY1 commercial shoot promoting Weather on the 1’s ? Hand carved out of urethane foam and covered in a hard shell.

CHOCOLATE BUNNY WINDOW DISPLAY
A tasty 9 foot tall faux chocolate bunny for Madison Ave. J. Crew Easter window display, hand carved and coated with a hard shell then painted in a faux chocolate finish. Yummy to look at but, don’t bite the ears. Engineered and built by David while @ Brooklyn Guild

SWEET WINDOW DISPLAY
Oh Ball….RUN! That’s what Sony wanted for their mechanical ball run vending machine window display. 50 of these whimsical displays were made for Sony stores across the USA. Designed and constructed by David @ Constructive Display.
